Cedar Valley Communications is your full service local telephone company. Unlike other telephone companies, we own our network, Internet equipment and switching systems. Consisting of fiber optic lines, microwave radios and copper loops, the Cedar Valley network rings the downtown areas of Kaufman, Gun Barrel City and Athens ,TX. Our main switching center is in Athens and we have smaller switches located in Gun Barrel City and Kaufman. Cedar Valley provides local, long distance, high speed and dial-up Internet services to over 3,300 customers.

Unlike the “big guys”, Cedar Valley is truly a local company. Our main office in Athens is open from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Customers come in to see us on a daily basis to add services or pay their bills. When you are calling in for service or repair, you are not talking to someone in another State or even another Country. All of Cedar Valley ’s customer service people are right here in East Texas . Cedar Valley has made arrangements with Fidelity Express to provide additional payment locations in Kemp, Mabank and Gun Barrel City.

Cedar Valley has been serving East Texas customers for nearly 6 years. Because of this, we understand the communications needs of our customers better than any other phone company.
